Since its launch in 1999, MJM Internationals Ultimo brand has grown to become one of the UKs leading independent designer lingerie brands. In 2004, MJM International joined forces with Asda, to create the highly successful ‘Michelle for George’ lingerie brand and in 2005 created ‘Per Amore’, a lingerie brand jointly owned with Dunnes Stores in Ireland.
The growth of the company has continued and in October 2007, we moved to new purpose built Headquarters in Peel Park, East Kilbride. We are now recruiting for the following positions
Head of Creative Design
Salary: dependant on experience
As Head of Creative Design, you will manage the day to day running of the creative design department. Working closely with the directors, you will take the lead in designing collections for all brands. You must have extensive design and sourcing experience and the ability to manage and deliver completed projects on time and to cost. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is a pre requisite, as is the ability to multi task.
Responsible for the overall design and development of ranges, this ‘hands on’ management role, requires strict adherence to critical time paths, delivering garments from concept stage, through to production, and will involve daily contact with factories. International travel will be necessary and previous experience of dealing with overseas factories is essential.
Lingerie & Swimwear Designers
Salary: dependant on experience
Applicants must have at least two years design experience and have extensive knowledge of the lingerie industry. You must have excellent communication skills and be used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. International travel will be necessary, and previous experience dealing with overseas factories would be advantageous.
Warehouse Assistants
Warehouse personnel required for busy fast flow goods warehouse. Responsibilities will include general warehouse duties, picking, packing and other related tasks. Must have the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
Experience within a warehouse environment would be preferred, but full training will be given.
